Starving Artist Moving

BUYER BEWARE!!! Do Not Use this company. Only use this company if you don’t care about having your move be on time. If you want to make multiple multi-state return trips because the movers couldn’t finish….

We scheduled 3 movers to load our truck. I asked for an estimate of the time of arrival. Never got a response for 3 days.

Day of move: Only 2 showed up which meant the loading took 35-45 percent longer. Resulting in a significant delay, high total costs, and then the movers (those guys were great) had to leave before they could finish.

We had to try and finish the loading and being our 5 hour drive - 3 hours late! But we couldn’t even finish the loading since we aren’t physically able to do that.

We had to leave our house with stuff in the garage, and make a second 10 hour round trip. And also, the movers accidentally ripped out a lighting fixture (accidents happen) but we weren’t able to stay and repair it as our closing on the new house and truck rental and local movers were meeting us the next morning.

We have 3 showing scheduled to sell the house which like won’t go well considering the stuff left and the broken light fixture - that alone could cost us an offer or at least a reduced offer.

I explained this tonight to the manager and STILL haven’t received a response.

Very professional, courteous, and on time. They picked up a package to deliver to me from another company that didn't deliver to my area. I do recommend.

I used them for a small job and they were fantastic. The piece they moved was much heavier than they expected, but they handled it well. Overall, I was very pleased with the job they did and the value I got. They were much cheaper than other quotes I got.

I used Starving Artists for a small move recently and thought they did a very good job! The price was right, too, compared to other quotes we got.
