They arrived on time and handled my delivery with care. Customer service was excellent.

My experience with Stewart Moving and Storage was extremely disappointing. They were arranged to handle my military retirement move from Maryland to California, and the entire process was riddled with issues.

The same person acted as the loader, driver, and unpacker. While the gentleman was polite, his performance left much to be desired. He damaged my porch steps despite my asking him to be more careful after hearing loud thuds. His response was dismissive, and as a result, my steps were chipped. I had to repaint them myself the next day because I was selling my house and couldn’t leave it damaged.

He also left dirt and handprints all over my white walls, which took hours to clean, and some stains didn’t come off completely. Again, I was preparing my house for sale, and this added unnecessary stress.

During transit, the driver hit a parked car without even realizing it. The incident came to light only because the car owner had camera footage and tracked down the company to report the damage.

The delivery itself happened on my birthday, which should have been a happy occasion, but it turned into a nightmare. On delivery, several of my items were missing or broken. The driver admitted he had forgotten some of my belongings at the warehouse and promised to return with them at a later date. He even made a call in front of me to show he was serious, but he never followed through. Ultimately, I had to go through 8 weeks of phone calls to arrange another delivery with a different team, and even then, some of my missing items were never found.

To add insult to injury, I went out of my way to be accommodating—buying lunch for the driver/packer, letting him use my restroom, and providing beverages—only to receive such poor service in return.

In the end, this move was an incredibly frustrating and unprofessional experience. I would not recommend Stewart Moving and Storage.

Very quick and easy pack up and move for a permanent change of duty station. The packers were very respectful, nice, and they were very hardworking. Would highly recommend them!

Stewart Moving company were awesome when it came to packing and moving my home furniture. The team did a great job. They are fast, efficient, and organized. I would surely recommend there services to others any day. 10 out of 10!

This was my first PCS move and I’ve heard horror stories. However, I had a great experience. My shipment for my HHG came all the way from Hawaii! The entire team was great. The delivery team was cautious, efficient and friendly. Nothing of their fault was broken. The packers in Hawaii packed some items strangely. They removed all of the trash debris and put everything back together. 10/10 would recommend.
