I HAVE 2.5 MILLION VIEWS ON MY GOOGLE REVIEWS

This review has to do only with their climate controlled in-door unit, not their truck rentals or their outdoor units that are not climate controlled.

I did not close my unit because of anything listed below, I moved to another city and had to get my stuff and bring it with me, and I closed. I would still be renting my unit if I did not decide to bring my stuff as I packed my stuff up and opened my unit late September 2022, i moved the same day, and closed it September 2023, when I decided to finally come back to get my stuff from many hours away.

This unit is not personal. It is about business. I am a harsh critic who critiques in a fair and unbiased way, and the current and future customers, as well as staff, management, and ownership, need to hear my thoughts. I have shared my thoughts with prior storage companies, and my unit was broken into so I did not want to share my thoughts until I was finally gone.

The staff are friendly, and my stuff was safe, and if that's what you're here for, then they deserve a 5 star. My price of $68 for a 5x5 with insurance was fair it slowly inched up like 2 bucks every couple of months, so my rate was pretty consistent, and that's fine. If I go to look at current rates for units that are the same size they're $30 more and I wouldn't open a unit up there if I was not already a customer due to the cost. This brings your rating to a 4 star

I trust no mouse could get in because it was sealed off really well but I did not check on my stuff for 1 year and when I came back my stuff had a bunch of what looked like saw dust caked on top, I did not like that. These units let you via Bluetooth and an app on your phone and that's great and convenient and you don't have to go buy a lock or keep up with keys, and that's wonderful but there is no way to pay your bill online, update your bank card, or message anyone unless you do email. You could go up there but they're very busy and always doing stuff on the property so you might come there with no one in the office and that means that they aren't going to answer the phone because it is in the office with no one inside.

The dust was annoying but not bad. My stuff was safe, and there were no rats, so this brings your rating to 3 stars.

I do wish that the automatic door opened for about 10 extra seconds as it wants to close on you while you're moving stuff. Also, they could put a lock on the front door for you to get in the building instead of locking everyone out at night because there was a time that I couldn't get in after hours and that was not fun but that was a year ago and I'm not sure if times changed, the other option is what they say that they do and that is leave the door unlocked and that means anyone can just walk in. At least if they got into the building without authorization that the police could get there before they got into someone units, and the capabilities are baked into the app that they use, so is paying your bill and updating your card information

and I told Eddie this, and he told me that all of this is more than he wants to do. So I hope people read this and pressure the change because your opinion spurs innovation, and at least it would justify the price going up. They claim it is the market rent, and that means they're going to go up every time their competition does it, and that means just raising prices for the heck of it. I understand that you want to raise money and that you're investing in the new building, but this would push me away if I was new to you. I'm just honest and I expect the best from you.

That last part brings your rating to a 2 star. Raising rates and not wanting to hear your customers because it is inconvenient. My stuff was safe but as I pay as a customer, I am now voting with my dollar and my money goes to the company who invests it, and so I am going to have a semi vested interest in wanting better and maybe that's what caused you to start advancement. I hope your company gets so good that it is good for everyone.
