Review:

I rarely write reviews. I have operated 58-year-old business with close to 600 reviews. Our rating is 4.9. I believe I know something about customer service. I have been trying to gain access to a climate-controlled unit. I was able to successfully enter the unit ONE TIME. I tried again today with no luck and 3 phone calls (an hour of me and my daughter’s time). I have spent close to 4 additional hours of my time on the phone with multiple offshore operators that are part of a property management company I'm told. I am waiting on a return call as I was finally able to get the last operator to escalate my request to someone who might actually be able to help. As soon as I gain access, I will be canceling our agreement. As of right now, if I could give a -5 star review I would. I will be waiting on the promised return call. Stay tuned for further reviews.

9/17/2022 - Guess what?
I never received my promised return call on Friday, 9/16/2022.
On 9/17, I called the offshore operator, cut them off from dragging the call out too long as they had the day before and got them to email me an email address for the stateside escalation unit. Their email said email them with questions and the would provide updates. Here is my email to them.
Local support,

I was told by a local copper safe storage employee yesterday that I would receive a phone call regarding accessing Tracy City, TN unit # 11. This is a climate controlled facility and the exterior door code wasn't working yesterday. I was told by your local employee, AL (I believe) that he had contacted someone to go to the location and physically check on the door and lock and make any repairs so we could access the unit. I understood I would get a return call. I never received a return call. I would like to hear back from a local person with a local phone number (not your numbers that the me to your offshore property managers) so I can avoid your phone tree and find out what is happening in a timely manner. My phone number is (xxx) xxxx. Please send me an email confirming you have received my email and my request.

Review:

I was skeptical about the location because of a missing gate situation and it looked like it had been ran down by a car around the whole property. I called the call center and spoke with a manager and I was assured that the gate was damaged as a result of previous owners but that it did not actually function under the new management team.

Well I wasn't sure how I felt about a location not being gated with my items inside, but I later found out that the gate wasn't needed anyway. The unit was inside of a building that had a keypad on it. All of the units were enclosed. The gate would have been a welcome extra layer of protection, but the units are still locked behind a door.

Very nice customer service team.

Review:

Set up a reservation online because we are moving to the area from across the country. Show up later in the afternoon after signing the agreement on my phone and receiving my gate code to see that the gate is wide open and broken for this site. In addition to that there is another trailer already parked in my spot. I contact Copper Safe and let them know about the situation the rep says yes we are aware of the gate but was not sure when it would be fixed. I asked to be moved to a different location so my trailer would be secure and she gladly sets me up at the mountain top location. They had multiple gates that were broken and fence that was tore down as well!!!!

I call Copper Safe again and ask to be refunded my card this has been a huge hassle and the only two locations I go to happen to be in shambles? The Rep tells me that I cannot be refunded my money. WHAT? You claim to be a place to safely store belongings but you have given access to the entire public! I may as well park this trailer on the side of the road there is no difference.

I will be contacting the BBB to share my experience with them along with the photos and videos of both locations.
