Don’t rent here “RATS” and poor customer service all your doing is renting and trashing your belongings after the “RATS”. If your here move out fast.

I have had a storage unit here for just under three years while looking for a new home. I'm finally moving out and I recently found out that they have a huge rat and mouse infestation. There is no food in my unit, just furniture and boxes of household goods, and everything is chewed through, and covered in dropping and urine. They have always had mouse trips out front, but I think they are just for appearances and don't actually do anything. I know I went in my unit last year in December and I don't remember seeing any evidence of rodents. I feel like I have thousands of dollars with of damage to my belongings and will probably have to throw most of the stuff away. There is a huge open field next to the facility and that is probably the problem, but the owners probably also don't do much for pest control. Also, the facility has no one on-site and it has been that way for a few months. Lately, the gate has been broken and so they either leave it open for anyone to come and go (so not even secure anymore) or they lock the gate and don't allow paying customers to access their units during normal business hours. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. USE Seguin Storage off Kingsbury instead.

I got the most patronizing call just now basically telling me to use my insurance to fix the damages. Again, I would not recommend anyone use this facility. They still have a responsibility to provide pest control and they are not doing enough. I have picture of my unit and another unit where someone moved out and literally removed a pile of rat dropping. And I love how they are trying to save face by saying to 'reach out for a resolution' when their resolution was for me to file a claim with MY insurance and that they will continue to do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to protect their paying customers from damages to their belongings.
