When I first got this unit, it was affordable and perfect. Since SROA acquired it, my price doubled from less than $50/month to $90+ a month. Even after moving to a new storage unit (same size and amenities) less than 5 minutes away, they are increasing the prices again four months later. It should be illegal how they acquired multiple storage companies in the area and increase the prices for everyone. There are few to no alternative companies to go to in the vicinity. If you are looking for a storage unit, recommend buying one for your home. This place will squeeze every penny from you

UPDATE: The company regularly looks up customers reviews and attempt to contact them regarding reviews. Also, they do not notify customers of fee amounts and increases to fees. Attempts to contact on phone are sent to an automated system.

Very friendly, clean units & good price.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I purchased 4 large units (10x20) over the phone and paid for up front. I also wanted 4 parking spots. When I arrived to move in none of the units I purchased and reserved were not even at the location I specifically booked for. They were at a whole different location. When I called I was told they couldn’t do anything even though it was their fault and either I could deal with it and stay at the wrong location or go with another company. Wow, shocked that this was their solution to the problem.

On top of that I was rudely hung up on 3 separate times before I got a “a supervisor will call you back within 24 to 48 hrs” but 5 days later still no call to fix the issue. On top of that there has been no one working at the local office. I was told the employee walked out and quit because the company is so bad to work for so there is no one to see in person or a contact person. Go figure.

I would recommend not booking with this company over the phone only in person at a local office to ensure you get what you paid for. The reps at the call center are rude, unprofessional, and undertrained to do the right job.

I've had a storage unit here for years. Once SROA became the owners they have increased the price of the same unit 5x. They continuously say it's due to matching prices of other facilities in the area but THEY OWN ALL OF THE OTHER LOCAL FACILITIES; they've purchased all of them. What started as a 115/mo unit is now 171/mo. Invest your money in a rent-to-own storage unit for your own property. I wish I had. If I could give zero stars I would.
