Do NOT use SROA, they have the worst customer service when you have a problem. I’ve tried for a week straight to get in touch with a property manager, district manager, and regional manager with no luck. Apparently there are absolutely no in person people to reach out to and you are only ever sent to a customer service line where no one is actually available to help you. I’ve been told there is nothing they can do but send tickets to request a manager to reach out to me.
Literarily the worst customer service and process ever if you are military or need a refund.
I signed up online. After signing up online it prompted to login and sign the contract. As I was reviewing the contract I realized there was a military discount. Instead of signing the contract, I went to the physical location to inquire about the military discount. The gentleman at the location had only been working there two weeks (was making his best effort to assist) with his 'trainer' on the phone to work him through the discount. They stated I needed to sign the contract to proceed. They could not provide the discounted price, nor did it reflect in the contract they wanted me to sign. After an hour instore with my 5-year-old daughter, I just said please cancel the unit and issue a refund. I showed that it had already debited the first month's fees from my account. They stated the issue would issue a refund that day and cancel the account. The next month I was charged again. I called the phone number listed which is a call center. The call center will listen to your complaint and say a district manager will reach out. It has been almost 3 months, and I have yet to have a district manager reach out, issue a refund or cancel my account. I have an outstanding balance for a unit I have never utilized and tried to cancel the day I walked into their office.
Highly recommend finding a different storage unit business.
