This experience had been the most unprofessional, inconsiderate and downright rude experience of my lifetime thus far. Lack of communication due to no one ever being in the office was the number 1 issue to begin with. My storage was in someone else's name due to an emergency situation that didn't allow for me to find my i.d. in order to rent the storage in my name. So a friend of mine put it in his name. Months go by and I'm assuming the money I give my friend is going to the facility but unbeknownst to me, he was keeping the money. I contacted the facility letting them know the situation and was informed that him and I must both come to the facility to sign the storage over to me.. The 5th or 6th time taking time off work and both of us making our schedules coincide to get thus done, we began getting frustrated by why is there never a person working out here to assist with anything?? We reached out to corporate multiple times. Finally got ahold of her and she said 'I'm sorry, I can't have a family member pass away?!'I told her Im sorry but this was very important I get the storage back into my name and the guy who had the storage in his name was refusing because he was sick of going back and forth.
Long story short. They put my unit up for auction. I was still contacting them letting them know i would pay whatever the cost because the items inside that unit belonged to my deceased son. The few and ONLY ITEMS. I have been calling them and calling Florida office like a crazy woman trying to save my unit and today I worked io the courage to drive by and it was gone. My heart shattered. How could people be so cruel ??? I did everything I could to save my unit but without anyone being present at the facility there was nothing I could do??¿ I didn't deserve you to allow someone to rummage through my stiff bc Brenda couldn't fulfill her duties. I will be having my legal team contact you since I couldn't get a response regarding a matter this important. I am sick and will feel this way for a long time because of this place. I would not recommend especially if you need to trust them to hold and protect anything of importance or value.
