DISGUSTING! My unit had a bird living in it, along with a puddle of water and mold growing on the lower 10' of the wall. It was also filled with cobwebs, BIRD FECES, and dead insects. Electric was out even not up to code.

Red Dot had no smaller units available and they REFUSED TO UPGRADE ME FREE OF CHARGE. They wanted me to pay the difference for the larger unit.

Their 'customer service' is a phone number to a call center out-of-state. They had not one person on site and could not get a 'property manager' to meet with me for 3 days.

I had to scramble to find another storage unit for my college student. We live 5 hours from Ames, and it was our only day to move. I was lucky to find a nearby competitor with 1 unit remaining. It ended up being a blessing as Red Dot should be condemned. I have followed up with the BBB.

I WOULD RECOMMEND YOU STAY FAR AWAY FROM RED DOT. I BOOKED ONLINE WITH DOING MY RESEARCH. DO YOURS!
