Storage Rentals of America

Yesterday I rented a 5x10 for a 9 foot long motorcycle. apparently, the motorcycle was too long for the unit.
Leaving the storage facility the gate wouldn’t not open! There was no key pad to enter my code or anything!
It took an hour before I got anyone with the company on the phone. After telling him the gate wouldn’t open his advice was to have some drive up to the gate from the outside to let me out. And that it was my fault for driving a motorcycle into the storage facility. He then quoted that the lease states that a traffic loop opens the door when a vehicle approaches it…. I reminded him that a motorcycle is a vehicle!
There was a man gate that would have been useful but it had a pad lock on it.
The individual on the phone didn’t care that I needed to get home to my kids or that I had been locked into the unit for some time.
I called the police and made a report just before having to jump the fence.
Never in my life will I recommend this company to anyone for any reason.

I tried & tried to get it to go through but until then
It was an experience.

The lock machine did not work. Had to leave and purchase one then return. Everything else was fine.
