This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. We made the reservation online for a unit in West Monroe, La the night before we went to the unit. We got to the unit with a truck loaded with furniture and storm looming in the near future and had to leave. The property had no gate functional at all meaning there were no gates. Went to the door to punch in the code we received and it would not work on any of the three doors. A sign on the door said the unit was closed and to call the phone number which was a Colorado number. No answer, just an answering machine. Left two messages 7 hours ago and still haven't received a call back. My wife called the Red Dot number we had and talked to a person on the phone who was useless. She couldn't or wouldn't understand that there were no gates to go through and that we had tried the code on three doors and it would not work. She actually asked us if we were standing in front of the unit when we had already told her we could not get into the building. She was no help and didn't even try to see about getting a code to work. She also didn't want to talk to my wife because it was in my name and my wife had made the reservation in my name. Also had to tell her that I approved the refund even though I had already had given permission to have this lady talk to my wife. She was very ill informed and was very bad at customer service. We will never rent from Red Dot again and we will suggest that no one use this company. You are not customer friendly and someone trying to help who is many States away is a joke.
