I am Betty Klemm. I do not write reviews, but have decided that I need to warn others that may be renting a climate control unit to be sure and check to see that it is working properly. The day we moved things into the Searcy Red Dot facility, the thermostat read in the 70’s. Two days later, it spiked to 88 degrees. I had to leave to go back home out of state and then was told after I was home that the problem had been “fixed.” After I was finally able to connect with a supervisor to find out what the problem was and what had been done to resolve the issue, I found out that he didn’t know. So, I asked a friend to check the thermostat for me since I didn’t trust that it had really been fixed. When he checked the thermostat, it read 96 degrees. This was almost 3 weeks after the initial problem. I quickly made arrangements to have our things moved to a different facility. Even though I reported the 96 degree temp, the thermostat read 89 degrees on the move out date almost a week later. I have learned that you cannot assume that the climate control is in working condition, especially at this location and when there is none on site to check it daily.
