Absolutely terrible facility. My unit was broken into and they took a while to get police the footage! And it seems that this facility gets broken into quite often. Like uncharacteristically often. It is almost certain that the people in charge of this facility or the people who watch the cameras, are the ones committing the crimes here. It is extremely sad and unfortunate. This place needs to be closed down! Save your money. You will literally have better odds on 12th and main than this storage facility
Rd Dot Storage does not care if you have your storage unit broken into. Just found out today that mine and several others were broken into and tossed. Piece of cr@p storage place. If you care about your things don’t store them here. When, not if but apparently when, your unit gets broken into and tossed, they just send you a code for a new lock and email you “my bad.” Found out from cops today that they have such ongoing issues with this storage facility that they had to have someone from Red Dot come up from Texas and try to address some concerns…. Doesn’t matter. My belongings are still tossed and broken. My stuff is still missing. Red Dot still collects your storage rent and gets paid. They don’t have adequate security or camera placement. What a waste. Red Dot doesn’t care and gets paid anyways. My advice is to never work with this company. Lots of headaches.
Edit to add: this place was robbed two weeks ago and the clowns who run it still haven’t replaced the cameras that were spray painted!!!! Completely unsafe place to store your belongings.

The debit card associated with my account was compromised meaning my automatic payment was declined. I received an account default email--which honestly freaked me out. When you're used to autopay you never stop to think--hey was my monthly payment withdrawn? At least I don't--I'm not great at paying attention to when things are due, which is exactly why I'm on autopay.., I guess that makes me lazy but I don't have to worry about bills being paid on time. I just have it in my checking account register for each month.
Kathy was my Customer Service contact and her help was invaluable!!!
My storage unit doesn't have a manager or phone onsite plus the office that does manage their local storage centers is closed a couple of days during the week. It's also in a different city than mine.
She tried to connect me this afternoon during their regularly scheduled hours but no one answered.
She's made extensive notes, including a detailed escalation ticket, concerning the situation including informing that office that they need to reach out to me so I can get a new autopay set up. She let me know what time frame they should be contacting me within. Then she let me know that I can call HER after that, since she knows all of the facts, if I don't hear from the management office within the set time frame.
I'm soooo relieved!
The items I store aren't particularly valuable except to me--it's mostly sentimental stuff but, like everyone else, we value things for different reasons.
In today's world good Customer Service is almost a thing of the past but Kathy demonstrated EXACTLY what a good rep can do.

I like he location and the units are well kept. I have two suggestion. Fix the light on the sign out front and fill in the trench more before the gate
