My Rent increased $41 in a 6 month period with new ownership . Moved out of my unit in December , I was charged for January rent , made several attempts to get my January refund and deposit back , I was told it could take 5 to 7 days . It’s now been 6 weeks! Meredith the Crestwood manager does not know how to manage the facility and will ignore emails , voicemails and make no attempt to resolve the issue . I was a valued customer for many years before the new owners took over . I was able to find the same size unit for half the price at another location . BEWARE of storage sense!!!!
I’ve had a unit here for about 3 years now and loved it when it was the original owners, but these new owners are a bunch of crooks. Since they’ve taken over they’ve raised the rent multiple times and even tried to force you to purchase an insurance plan through them to add even more to your rent. The front gate is constantly broken and as of right now there isn’t even a gate there at all. I asked if I would be given a lower rate since they are not providing the security that I pay for and they refused any compensation. If I had known they would raise the prices this much, I would have gone with a climate controlled unit elsewhere. Take notice of all the recent reviews and the common trend. Save yourself and take your business elsewhere in town.
Since this place got new owners I would not recommend it to anyone! I know several people that have storages here and their monthly price keeps going up randomly with no notice to the customers at all.
So easy to rent and employees were nice & helpful. Units were clean and very nice
I had a fairly large unit with Storage Sense for almost five years. In that time there was no issues with billing, their customer service was acceptable. Then, at the end of May '24, I called to inform them I was relinquishing my unit and would have everything out by the end of the month. In the meantime, on the 27th, $204 was withdrawn from my account for the month of June.
I contacted them and spoke with Meredith. She seemed okay, told me she would refund the monies and I took her at her word.
Well, Meredith didn't turn out to be such an honest person. To this day she's not responded to texts or phone calls and I still don't have my refund. Even after being diagnosed with cancer, and needing the money, they're immovable.
I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy.
