Storage Sense - Kankakee

This is a very clean and quiet facility. All of my needs before and since move-in were met in a prompt, professional manner by the manager Melissa.
She is the real reason to look no further for your storage needs.
Very friendly, professional and brings an easy, reassured feeling to a corporate setting.
I feel fortunate to have made the choice to rent here because of her and you will too!

The owner is very nice I used them for a yr and my stuff stayed safe ...gates went out with bad stroms...but they fixed it right away...

Safe place and the kankakee one safe place

I rented a unit from 7/30-12/31/2022. First LA06 (5x10) then A25 (10x10).
I’ve used them previously when it was under other management. This facility ran better before the change.
On that first day, I discovered the unit I’d just rented was still locked and occupied. I was given a second unit number and same thing. I was told to wait two days and it would be vacated.
It wasn’t clean of course, and I didn’t get a credit for those days.

Additionally, the gate was broken the whole time I rented there in 2022.

When I finally collected my remaining things, somehow everything in the front of the unit was covered in dirt. That has never happened before anywhere.

The staff seemed rarely there.
I’d pull up as the open sign was lit, only to find the sign to call their cell. Once I made an appointment for my lunch and the girl was 15 minutes late.

Email is definitely the best way to communicate with them. I’d confirm they’re renting you a vacated unit before signing the agreement.
