Storage Sense - Scranton

Horrible place .....rent increased 10fold plus they charge a 20% late charge which is ridiculous...you can never reach corporate to rectify issues plus last managers and district management was fired for stealing from units......I've been renting two units for close to four years and now looking to move somewhere else......Storage Asset Management or SAM is who runs these units for investors so they can care less about customers issues.

I highly recommend avoiding this storage facility. The unit was filthy, with visible rat droppings and even a rat running across the floor. When I mentioned it, the staff denied any rodent issues. The walls had mold and fungus growing, and many of the other unit doors were bent, as if someone had tried to break in. The equipment for moving items was dangerous, with nails sticking out. Overall, this place is poorly maintained and unsafe for storing your belongings. Rats had chewed there way into my one of my boxes (which contained very expensive clothes and valuable documents)so I left it there and they were going to charge me $300 to remove said box. STAY AWAY!!

I’ve paid for 2 units for almost 3 yrs it was all good in the beginning went there October started seeing piles of rat poop my wooden cabinets have chewed holes my rifles table saws hand saws are all rusted started moving boxes that ripped open onto the floor from moisture went too the office a hand full of times no one there sent many emails no returns another renter came and told us the roof in a area caved in no one from the company reached out I’ve lost so much stuff all my furniture has mold I took pictures of everything I spoke to management which she felt the need to speak over me claim there were no written notices and laugh and also let me know after 10/11 months the owners were no longer the owners which I was never notified of this ither but there was nothing funny about what I have lost due to the conditions of this storage unit
