StorageMax Self Storage

Please do not rent here. They are a bunch of crooks! I was on Google looking for storage in either Upland or Rancho Cucamonga. A third-party company gave me the information for storage Max Self Storage at 8363 Foothill Blvd., Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

I was told there was no activation fees, no lock fees, and you could use your own homeowners insurance. Then I called today June 4, 2024 as I had a reservation for a unit there I spoke to the gal on the phone and to my surprise, these are the fees that they don’t tell you about :

* Activation Fee $24.00 + $14.00 a month X 2 months upfront - $28.00 + Lock Fee of $16.50 and you have to use their lock. So for a 5x15 storage is $129 per month plus all these fees upfront.

Total cost upfront is $197.50 and the rates can go up at anytime at the amount Store Max decides to charge. They lied about their rates and they won’t let you use your own homeowners policy for three months, which allows them to charge you three months at $14 a month before you can change the insurance. This is clearly an illegal process and obsessive fees. I strongly recommend (you not ) get a storage from this company. THEY ARE CROOKS!!!

Easy to get in and always clean. The building is always clean, too. The restroom is inside the office, so make sure to use the restroom on days that the office is not open. The girls at the front office are very friendly and will help you out with any issue a problem you might have.
Update : 7/27/24
12:00 noon no one is the office and waited 10 minutes. There is no note on the door and not answering the phones. Another lady said she's come by twice on 2 different days, and the office has been closed

Called to inquire about a storage unit and the moving truck, I was told that you have to get a 10×20 or larger to use there truck ?. 02/23/2024

I'm so mad it's Christmas eve this place said they will close at 2 it's not even one and it's closed I have to get Christmas gifts out of my storage I called no answer I'm at the gate honking the horn no response I know someone is here both cars are here what the hell
