Stowaway Self Storage - Phillipsburg

Hello everyone,

This past Friday (2/14), I officially closed out my 10x10 unit of the last 4yrs. I recently had to stop by to rearrange and add some stuff, as I was moving across the country and needed to prepare things for the movers. The staff recommended I put down a plastic tarp, just to keep my things off the concrete should it rain or any other messy weather arise. ALL of my stuff is still in the condition I left it in! Especially my furniture and electronics & highly precious sentimental items that I could not keep on my person during the time. The office staff was always available during business hours and even called me right back a few times when they missed my call. The gentle email reminders about the occasional missed/late payment (which I didn’t mind paying the late fees for). All in all, I just want to say I’m truly thankful from the bottom of my heart for all they’ve done for me these last 4yrs. I had complete access to my unit during the hours listed, so long as my unit was up to date in payment. Pretty standard and each time I went, my belongings were undisturbed. They have U-Haul trucks available too, which I absolutely needed. They made the initial set up quick and easy! I think my fiancé and I got our unit and the U-Haul in less than 30mins. That was a huge help because we were able to do everything we needed, including move all that needed to be moved, into our unit and returning the truck that evening. 1000/10 would recommend!

In the nearly eight years we’ve lived in our town, we’ve been using this storage company for over five years, and it has been an amazing and pleasant experience. The facility is always clean and we’ve never had any issues with rodents or bugs. Our rent-controlled 5x10 unit has consistently been well-maintained and it’s always a relief to walk in and see how clean and debris free everything is.

As someone who used to be a relief manager at Public Storage, I know what to look for in high-quality storage and this location is absolutely top-notch. From the facility itself to the overall experience, it’s clear they prioritize excellence. Highly recommended for anyone in need of reliable and clean storage!
