Suburban Moving

Very ethical. Hard working. Great job.

I hired Suburban Moving based on the reviews posted. BIG mistake! I should have done better research, but I was in a pinch to move. Instead of rambling on, let me just give you bullet points to consider:
1. They raised their rates within 4 months from $225.00 per hour to $375.00 per hour.
2. They charged me $2750.00 to move 1 block! Yes, you read that right. Chris said because they had to go up and down stairs. Seriously!?
3. They wasted time by moving half the load into my new place only to return to the old place to pick up the rest of the load. I would have fired them on the spot, but I didn't want to risk having my furniture laying in the middle of the street.
4. Small bookcase was missing the pins to hold the bottom self in place. I had to spend extra money to find replacement pins in order to use the shelf.
5. Large bookcase was dismantled and just thrown in my office. Shelves were not put back together, nor the ladder.
6. I have many friends and we exchange recommendations from painters, plumbers to electricians. They were SHOCKED how much I was charged to move 1 BLOCK! Everyone said I was ripped off. I agree and have learned a valuable lesson.
7. Too all who read this...do your research! Every review on this company that I read was the total opposite of my experience.

They showed on time. Nice guys and they were able to get the job done. I wish they stayed longer. Chris always answered any questions. I recommend this company.

Shane and Mark were excellent. They didn’t waste time moving the items out and stored them perfectly into the storage unit. I would definitely use them again when I permanently move.
