Great company

When we were given the price for the move that we were going to, we were given a price that we thought was fair and reasonable, so we said let's go. After the move the price for some reason increased almost 600 dollars, we weren't told anything about this nor given any explanation why. After seeing the check donna gave them I have tried several times to get a explanation, they have yet to return my calls. I have since stopped payment on the check until I get some sort of explanation, so if you want to use them there ok movers just beware on the end as to the charges they want.

We used Superior Moving Company for a local move in Crawfordsville, Indiana. The movers were very good and hard working. During the move, the owner of Superior Moving Company kept talking to us about selling us some antique toys that he said belonged to his grandfather. The owner claimed that the toys had been appraised verifying their estimated worth. We trusted his word as to the authenticity of the toys and verified value.

We paid him $705.00 for all the toys he offered to sell us. We later took the toys to a reputable antique dealer in Tipton, Indiana who informed us that all of the toys, except one, were reproductions and the total value of the toys we received was $200.00. Obviously, we never would have paid $705.00 for reproductions valued at $200.00.

We have twice contacted the owner of Superior Moving Company and informed him the bulk of the toys were reproductions and not antique originals as he had led us to believe, and were not valued at the price that he had led us to believe. We have asked him twice to refund our money. He has twice refused saying 'A deal is a deal.'

We believe we have been the victims of 'sharp practices' used by the owner of Superior Moving Company and urge caution when dealing with this individual.
