I couldn't have asked for a more professional friendly team. Efficient and careful with all me belongings and plants. Thank you.
Austin & his team were absolutely wonderful in helping unload my parent’s move from California. From the initial scheduling, to the follow-up prior to the move date, and the actual unload, we could not have asked for better service. The guys were on-time, super polite and helpful to my elderly parents, and all the furniture was unwrapped, the bed reassembled, and everything put in place where mom& dad wanted it. They were even finished earlier than anticipated! I would not hesitate to use them again, and would definitely recommend their services to anyone looking for a great, honest, helpful and efficient moving crew!
After our experience with Austin and Team Moving Company this past week, (see the 1 star reviews posted by my sister, Shaunna, and my wife, Tabitha for context), it was confusing how there are so many five star reviews for this business.
This morning my questions were answered. We received a text message from Austin offering us a partial refund of $200 in exchange if we agree to remove the 1 star reviews.
There have been times where we’ve been in the position where we would’ve needed to accept that offer. And unfortunately many people in our community are in that position. It makes me wonder how many others Austin has taken advantage of in this way?
(Also of note: Austin claims we misled him about what was needing to be moved; but the text sent the night before, and his response, show otherwise.)
Austin and his team were top notch. Immediate communication, on time, friendly, courteous, and fast. First class service. Would definitely use them in the future. Thanks again!
While we aren’t surprised by the level of unprofessionalism in the response to my sister Shaunna’s original post after our awful experience with this business last week, we are surprised by the number of lies they chose to embellish it with! Always a disappointment when a business opts to go on the offense instead of taking constructive feedback. Criticism is always hard to hear, but being able to accept it respectfully & graciously is something I know I look for in reviews when I’m hiring for services.
For anyone else weighing their moving options, we’d boil it down to this: we’ve had awesome experiences with moving companies in the Rogue Valley thus far (Skinny Wimp Moving, Hall of Fame Moving, Back Savers Moving) but we strongly recommend avoiding Team Moving if you’re disabled, if you’re trying to conserve time/money while packing by using totes, organizing cubes, suitcases, & bags you have on-hand, if you’re a woman, if you have any antique or heirloom wooden furniture (there was some unfortunate damage to ours), or if you’re LGBTQ+. None of these things has been an issue with other moving companies, but there’s a first time for everything. Team Moving’s price point is comparable to others we’ve used, so the $445 we paid was to be expected; we just wish they’d gotten the job done like the others were able to! Shout out to our sister & our amazing friends for jumping in to help us move everything Team Moving refused to take. Good luck to families out there; we wish you a low-stress move & people who have your back :)
