Worst moving service ever! Please avoid them, I wish I had seen the recent reviews and not gone through with this service because they are awful. First of all, before the moving, the main person Zen speaks very kindly to you and then the tone and everything changes afterwards. I had a moving for a small apartment and they initially gave me a quote for 2-3 hours which was reasonable given that I don't have too many items but they sent the most unprofessional and inexperience movers on my actual moving day. The movers were like teenagers and wasted so much time while being extremely careless with my furniture. The move that was supposed to take around 2 hours ended up being 5 hours because they were purposefully wasting time and being inefficient. They were walking around the building, laughing and talking while not even doing the work so it all took extra long. They also showed up to the moving destination almost 15 mins later than we did and we even had to call them to ask about where they were. They would literally waste so much time even with unloading by taking one rolling suitcase at a time. It got so late to a point where I had to pitch up to get things moving - which defeats the purpose of even having movers. Because of their inefficiency, I had to pay double my quote and the manager Zen did nothing about it but say that it is what it is. Extremely poor customer service and the biggest issue was that they broke my items!!! Please do yourself a favor and do not book with these people because they will give u a much lower rate compared to other companies but then it will all end up as much much higher at the end (which they do on purpose, kind of feels like I got scammed!) than actual professionals.
It was a stressful move from Chicago to Florida. Tetris has a competitive price on the market however, 'you get what you paid' It looks like Tetris has a business model where they purposely underestimating quote to make it look attractive, convincing that a small 16' ($5,000) truck will be sufficient, but after half of the truck is loaded they 'realizing' that a bigger truck is needed (26' one) and they have to reload from the small truck for an extra $2,200 and total loading took almost 12 hours with rehandling. As a result, some pieces of furniture got broken and scratched. It doesn't look like Tetris has any kind of insurance to cover damages and they didn't take any responsibility for the damage. We were unhappy with management. They are talking very sweet and polite, but practically unprofessional, always getting late and conducting business the same way they did in former Soviet Union. To me it's OK to use relatives to help in business, but they must have at least some experience or basic training. I can still recommend Tetris for moving, but Keep in mind the furniture you are moving is at your own risk, there is no formal written contract and Tetris will not be responsible for the damage.
These guys are horrible!! They were supposed to come at 1.00 pm then said 2 pm, then 4, then 5 then stopped picking up the phone. Don't go with them at all
We had an incredibly disappointing and frustrating experience with Tetris Movers. We were initially quoted a 3-hour moving time, but it shockingly dragged into an entire day, resulting in an unexpected $600 charge (only cause we refused to pay aynmore), which was threatned upon us otherwise they wouldn't even finish moving our stuff.
The incompetence began right from the start when the young incompetent movers dropped a box of our dishes, including our precious wedding cake stand. This accident alone cost us $100-$200+ as several items were irreparably broken. Despite our efforts to organize everything meticulously for a swift move, the movers inefficiently handled one box at a time, taking a whole four hours just to load the truck—a process we previously completed from start to finish in three hours with another company.
Our distress escalated when we found the movers smoking cigarettes right in the truck above our furniture. Even after we intervened, the carelessness continued. Our complaints were dismissed by the manager, who refused to send additional help or address our concerns, leaving us feeling exploited for both time and money.
To make matters worse, as we are settling in, we are finding significant damage to our furniture, including a beloved vintage dresser. This piece, which holds sentimental value and was a major investment for us, was treated with utter disregard.
I cannot express enough how let down we feel. We moved just a few streets over, expecting a simple and smooth transition, but instead, we were met with negligence and unprofessionalism. We strongly advise against using Tetris Movers. Please, save yourself the stress and disappointment—we certainly wish we had.
Very unprofessional in moving. They sent two movers who are not experienced and don't know how to handle and move. No handle with care, lot of dents and damages when they moved. I don't recommend them.
