Review:

LJ’s entire crew was amazing! They all were so polite and respectful during our moving process. It was great working with them and would give them my highest recommendation. They were a great team with hard work ethic and also kind friendly people. I would trust LJ to run any company or crew in any industry seriously.

UPDATE 10/30/24
Well, the folks at Claim Team 4 had a chance to change my opinion, but they opted for the easy way out.
We followed their rules and submitted a claim that covered the 6 items that were in Mayflower's charge but due to their ineptness were either lost or stolen. Still amazes me that they 'lost' a 6' tall metal shelving unit.
Without a sense of decency or care for their customer, they opted not to contact me for any information and determined that only 2 of our items were valid and 'respectfully declined' the other 4.
So instead of having our items or being reasonably compensated for them, they gave us a check for $146 which wasn't close to the $1800 we submitted.
Respectfully, I am truly happy that many customers apparently had a very good experience with this company.
I did not.

Armstrong/Mayflower Mount Joy, PA, was simply the worst ‘professional’ (?) moving company move my family and I ever had.
Here are the key points:
Quote was underestimated by 5,000lbs.
While the packing and loading were going on, I had a call from a CSR who told me that it would cost another $1100 for the extra weight and if I didn’t agree to this, the driver could walk off the job. Although we finally agreed to an extra $550, Armstrong/Mayflower should have honored the original contract since it was their guy who provided it.
The 4-day agreed upon pack and move turned into a not agreed upon 4 week fiasco.
Many items/cartons were not tagged as they were supposed to be during the pack and load, making it difficult to check them off as they were unloaded. Lots of guess work involved.
After the 2nd overflow truck was empty, we were still missing 5 items/cartons.
Some of the picture frames had the glass broken. Some items were stuffed into drawers rather than being properly packed.
They tried to deliver a couple of cartons to us that had a different color tag than ours. I’m not sure if those people ever received their cartons.
It has been 3 months since Armstrong/Mayflower supposedly launched a search for our missing items/cartons. We’ve not heard anything from Armstrong/Mayflower.
To sum it up, Armstrong/Mayflower Mount Joy cared more about getting paid than taking care of our belongings and anything close to customer satisfaction.
If you decide to go with this bunch, I wish you better luck than what we’ve had.

I have used this moving company several times. They are awesome! They are always professional and get the job done efficiently. They also have great prices if you compare them with other moving companies. They always take care of your things and are kind and respectful. I have had different crews each time and they have always been great. Highly recommend this moving company!
