The Green Man

We've used the Green Man several times for C&D dumpsters. They are polite and answered all our questions about what could and couldn't go in the container. We have found their pricing to be straight-forward and their delivery/pick up very prompt. I highly recommend them.

I'll be honest I would rather not post a negative review at all, however these guys have really truly abysmal. We moved here about 8 months ago. When we first got their service we struggled with pickup because they would say Thursday morning and come Wednesday afternoon. This was frustrating but we moved it up a day to accommodate them. For a few weeks there was not an issue. However, the past few weeks, they haven't been picking up Wednesday or Thursday or Friday they started coming on Saturday at a random time. They have not told of any changes as we have come to expect. Last week was really my breaking point. One of the trashcans that's been sitting at the top of our driveway since Wednesday fell over, and when they came to pick up our trash, they did nothing to help. We don't know what time they came. All we know is we missed them. I'm not saying it's their job to pick up a fallen over trash can, but what I am saying is it was standing Wednesday. It was standing on Thursday. And it was standing on Friday. I am not sure why it's so difficult for this company to exercise decency. We try our hardest to support small companies, but I'll say this, isn't it.

I had service with them for at least six months. In that time frame, my trash was picked up on random days more times than the scheduled day. Our trash can just lived at the end of the drive because we never knew when they would come get it. Also, if the can lid is not completely closed they won’t pick it up. I’m actually fine with that except for when they pick it up days late and we have too much trash. When I messaged them to ask when they would pickup, they sometimes would never respond.

My weekly trash pickup is on fridays, and Thursday night I forgot to put my can at the road which is about 15ft away from the curb where it normally sits. They went and got my can from my yard and still got it anyway. Sorry for forgetting but thank you so much! Great service.
