The Moving Doctor

I used the moving doctor on 9/20/2023 to move from Astoria queens to Long Island. The booking process with them was smooth, Dany was very helpful the movers that came were on time and quickly broke down the furniture to put in the truck. They were just as fast as once we arrived at the new place to set it back up. I would highly recommend this moving company to others.

I have moved many times unfortunately in past 12 years. I regret never using your services until 2023. I recently hired you all for a small transfer of three pieces of furniture from my mom's house to mine. The two gentleman were so kind and sweet. Took amazing care of furniture. And most importantly, were friendly to my mom who had to let go of some of my dad's furniture to make room in her new space. Though the furniture has stayed with me, it was a very emotional day for my mom. The two men understood that and took time to speak to my mother and eased her heart. I was so grateful ? Mary Drew

I hired the moving doctor for my move from Nassau County to NYC. We started at a self storage unit where the 3 man team quickly and efficiently loaded the truck. They helped tape up a few boxes and wrap items that needed extra protection. The first stop was a residential home in the same town to drop off and pick up some items. We then we made our way into Manhattan where the team had to double park the truck on an avenue due to limited parking. Even with one person staying with the truck and helping loan up the dollys, the other two men worked fast to make trips up and down the elevator and move everything into the apartment. We hit a snag when the biggest piece of the sectional couch had trouble fitting through the door, but they were able to use the tools they had on them to temporarily remove the small wooden blocks on the bottom of the couch to fit it through the door. Once inside, they reattached the blocks and setup the couch. The team was very friendly, hard working, and trustworthy. I felt like I was in great hands and the team finished hours before I had expected to be done. I would definitely recommend the moving doctor and will keep them in mind next time I need a mover!
