We used The Other Moving Company for a corporate move in Richmond and the communication was excellent and the move was smooth. The team stays in contact the entire time and questions were answered quickly and thoroughly. I noticed the dollies they used had something on the wheels to prevent scuffing. I was told this was another step to help protect our flooring. They are EXTRA careful with your home/office and your stuff! Great customer service and will show up when they say they will. I would like to express my gratitude for our moving coordinator's professional and very friendly direction as she provided updated information and requirements prior to the mover’s arrival. She answered all my questions and kept me informed on how to prepare for the team’s arrival. Further, she followed up a few days after our move to ensure that everything went well and that I was satisfied with the moving process.
Now, I would like to tell you how amazing the moving team was! They arrived on time, were friendly and so positive even though they had to move our belongings from the third floor during a very warm day.
When arriving at our new home, they carefully unloaded our belongings and even verified where in the house things should be left. During this entire process, they maintained such a friendly manner and genuinely cared that furniture was in the correct location and assembled according to our preferences.
It was also very surprising that I was asked to verify that all items were removed from the truck before they loaded their equipment and left for their next job.
Moving is so stressful, and this company and their team honestly helped reduce this stress by being both professional and kind and for that reason I cannot express how appreciative I am!
