Satisfied and Impressed with the Padded Wagon’s Services – Would Recommend

I recently had to transition my elderly uncle from his apartment in NJ to an assisted living facility in FL and The Padded Wagon was recommended by my senior move manager. They delivered a timely and detailed move estimate, and 5 guys were able to help pack his items onto the moving truck within a few hours. Thereafter, Manny, the driver, drove down to Florida and completed the shipment within 4 days. He called me during the drive to introduce himself and give me a prospective update on the date and time, was responsive, and remained in contact with me leading up to the day of unloading. Due to unforeseen circumstances, Manny went above and beyond in his duties that day, and my uncle and I were extremely grateful for all his assistance. Everything arrived in perfect condition. I am very impressed with their services, and would recommend.

Would highly discourage anyone from using padded wagon. They completed a move for me which went as planned – but charged me ~50% more than the detailed estimate they gave me after touring my apartment before. The total ended up being an absurdly high amount for my move. I had friends move out of state during early days of COVID for less than what they charged me to move a 2 bedroom a few miles.

Padded wagon sent an estimator to my apartment that gave me a quote of $2,700 (on the high end of competitors) which include 2 hours of packing by 2 people before hand. Company said “would be a 9-5 job”, the move was completed by 6pm and they charged me nearly $4,000 (not including tip). Stuck me with all sorts of random charges beyond what they estimated including parking tickets they received. I spent a long time trying to reconcile the bill with the company – they admitted they overcharged me a few hundred bucks at least but after reaching out to them many times they refused to send me a refund.

Don’t use padded wagon or believe the quote they give you – complete nonsense.

As a ride share driver I thought I'd heard it all. Until i shuttled multiple rides of ABDL DDLG conventioneers there and back over the space of a weekend. Apparently this an uberfantastic nightclub they love. I made in a few days what I usually make in two weeks driving! Ans now I know I've heard it all. Padded people have to be the most polite, happy, cute, friendly, intelligent and empathy-endowed humanists to emerge in the new millennium. No contest.
