Don't use this firm. The initial quote for my move was grossly underestimated, then raised 2 days before pick up, then raised again by the actual moving company. Three Brothers said 7 to 10 day delivery. Actual mover said 2 to 21 days. I believe I was purposely mislead at best and lied to at worst
Google does not allow 0 stars, but this group sure qualifies. My review is intended to warn ALL potential customers. 3 Brothers is not a real business, just well-trained thieves who each play their part and follow a script. They sucker you in with competitive quotes and do not commit to a firm price. A bid is based on truck cube using pieces you list to estimate. Their algorithm is for doll furniture, so plan on cost doubling your cost at minimum, which is no exaggeration, it happened to me. The confidence game calls this ‘bait and switch.’ Once on the hook with a nonrefundable deposit they just continue to raise prices. It is like a ransom, holding something you value as their leverage. Important to note 3 Brothers is a BROKER so you are unaware who the actual contractor is when booking. The standards are set low to max profit margin, also how they deflect blame and accountability. Since my money was effectively lost already, I sacrificed more, rather than trying to reschedule last minute. They will reassure you up until another direct debit is made, but the promises end immediately on the next call to customer service. Each time I got bad news, as example: delayed the pickup time, now only cash after agreeing to Venmo and even tried charging for blankets which I provided. (another red flag, wrapping considered extra). An initial $1,500 quote became $4,500 at delivery, otherwise they said, we will not unload the truck. My daughter was on site alone and did not want her to deal with these crooks directly, so I paid the difference. Afterwards, I called regularly and sent pics, to prove overstated cube. That is when stalling began, claiming they must wait for original invoice from the third party. Although I gave them mine, company policy conveniently says it must come from them, in this way it is not their fault! My initial request was late February but ONLY interim contact was me to them. No courtesy call to state ‘we are working on it, or sorry for delay.’ I realize now there is no resolution in these calculated scams. They victimize honest, trusting people, 3 Brothers offices are all over the US so every buyer please beware. Especially if a guy named Vince answers, hang up! Their clear shame is a complete lack of integrity. Absolute worst company on the planet by far, just wish this review was posted before my call.
I do not even want to give them one star but I had no other option. They brokered my contract out to another company one that I can't even find listed 3 Iranians came into my house demanded I pay an extra $2,500 cash now. Then my daughter came home from work wanted to know why they were demanding 2500 more. Do not use this company they are Crooks they took advantage of an elderly lady who is sick and started yelling at both my daughter and myself. Very bad company now I have an attorney for a civil suit and I notify my credit card company they are going to attempt to get my money back I will keep you all posted
It was a bait and switch. As previous reviews said. The drivers were pleasant … everyone was nice as they lied to me. They overcharged and delivered 5 days late. Also offered free boxes and then charged me 75 dollars per box… yes per box.
First off, they are a broker, not a moving company; they get other moving companies to do the work. That should be a red flag to ANYONE. They talked us up, gave us their 'discounts' and a cheap small estimate for a big move. We paid a deposit, and when the actual moving company arrived, we had to pay more than DOUBLE the initial estimate in CASH, up front, and then DOUBLE THAT upon delivery. DO NOT use brokers. Educate yourself. This is a shady business, don't let the idea of three 'brothers' helping you out make you feel all warm and fuzzy. Get or rent a truck with the gas prices and all that baloney, gather your own real friends or family, and do it yourself.
