My family and I worked with TMM for our move with the Navy.  It was a horrible experience, most of our furniture arrived with damages in multiple areas, chips, scratches, and  missing parts. I am most upset about cracks to both my antique mirrors and furniture. There was issues with almost every step of the way, which could have been easily avoided,  and since we delt with multiple moving companies, each one blamed the previous group. We were not given any information on how much space was needed for delivery. We supplied enough room for a semi truck, but was told they needed almost double that to include their ramp. We have street city parking, later that morning once it became available they said they had left and its too late. Due to size restrictions we were passed on to a separate company for delivery. Once we received our delivery, my husband signed off. We had a full week of unpacking only to find boxes were never delivered. Art, glass wear, Kitchen items, cleaning supplies, Christmas decor, etc.  We called the office and was told we would have a response in a few hours, one week later no one made any contact.  Reaching out again our trace came up negative, we were told since my husband signed their document, they immediately claimed they are not at fault.

There were different companies every step: One group for boxing. Different group for pick up. Different group for storage. Different group for delivery. Most of our things arrived damaged if it arrived at all. Everyone worked very hard and it's sad the out come was this.

If able to give zero stars I would. This is the most unprofessional company you can come across. They steal, lose and damage your household goods and then try to place blame back to the customer. Their workers are lazy and don’t know how to pack. As the saying goes the workers are a reflection of the employees. If you want a company that will steal, damage and or lose your items, this will be the company to go to. BEWARE!!!!

If I could give TMM zero stars, I would. I’ve been in the military for over a decade and have dealt with numerous moving companies, but I’ve never had an experience as terrible as this one.

The movers completely mangled my patio furniture set. While the bench had a minor pre-existing hole (which I’ve circled in green in the photos), the damage they caused is extensive and has rendered the entire set unusable. Both chairs and the bench were in perfect working condition when they were picked up. The movers added significant damage, including a massive hole in the bench in a completely different spot (circled in red in the photos).

To make matters worse, their packers lumped the entire furniture set into one line item on the inventory list, giving the impression that all the damage was pre-existing. This is beyond frustrating because the chairs were completely intact before the move, and now they’re destroyed.

We also had issues with the packers themselves—teenagers who clearly had no idea what they were doing. Their careless handling and improper packing caused unnecessary damage to our belongings.

Instead of taking responsibility, TMM tried to paint my family as if we were just trying to get money out of them. This couldn’t be further from the truth. I don’t care about the money—I just want my furniture fixed or replaced. But because of their negligence and refusal to acknowledge their mistakes, we’re left with nothing.

Avoid this company at all costs. They are unprofessional, careless, and unwilling to take accountability for the damage they cause. Families work hard for their belongings, and it’s heartbreaking to see them treated this way. TMM should be blacklisted from handling military moves.

EDIT: They claimed that the pre-existing damage made the new damage more likely to occur. However, as shown in the photo (circled in green), the pre-existing damage is on the back of the bench, while the new damage is on the seat portion, which is on the opposite side. These two sections are completely separate and consist of distinct pieces stitched together. There is no reasonable way the pre-existing damage could have contributed to the new damage.

My family has moved 15 times over my 28 year military career, and TMM was the worst one ever. This was my retirement move and it was bad from start to finish. After breaking numerous items, they nickled and dimed me for the claims and wouldn't accept responsibility for a large piece of furniture that was destroyed. If you are military and get assigned TMM for your move, ask for a different company and reference the horrible reviews they continually get.

I live on base, the truck driver was barred from base. I let the coordinators know the Thursday prior to my Saturday delivery. They assured me that a local company would be there to deliver my stuff, that was false and I ended up picking up my stuff from a truck stop. Attempted to file an inconvenience claim, however it didn't fit the definition of an inconvenience..
