This whole process has been one of the worst I've experienced. On packing day the personnel packing my house didn't pack anything appropriately so it will not get damaged during transit. Most of my items were received broken. On loading day while the truck driver was sleeping in his truck his crew was running around throwing my stuff on the back of his truck and didn't bother to put a inventory sticker on most of my items after I asked why some of my items didnt have a inventory number and how would I know if my stuff is going to be accounted for ,they said it's going to be okay theyve done this multiple times.
When my HHG got delivered at its final destination only half of it arrived. Half of my couch was missing, half of my dinning table, half of my bed frame was missing, matter missing, my TVs were missing parts and broken, Broken boxes, broken items, Boxes were missing, Open and damage total storage boxes. Washer and dryer, damaged military equipment, missing furniture and the Parts box was missing so nothing can be assembled not like anything could have been assembled because everything that was taken apart arrived in parts.Three Shimano baitcaster combos, a Veritas 2-piece spinning combo, and a Shimano Curado 200 M casting reel, valued over $500, are missing. The staff that delivered my household goods stated, 'We did not see any fishing gear.'
All I received from my HHG is heavy paperweight this whole experience caused a lot of stress for my wife and myself. My wife and kids had to move back with her parents until I get our HHG situation straight which I am being told it takes 60 to 90 days.Thank you for the nonhard work that this company did and the nonprofessional personnel this company sent to help me out.
Will NOT recommend !!!
This was the worst moving experience in 20 years in the military. They lost and broke more items then I have ever had happened. They neglected to inform us that we had to save everything they they broke and not just take pictures like we always had so they aren't reimbursing us. The wasted money sending a 3rd party to come to our house to look at stuff we no longer had, money they could have put towards our reimbursement. If this is the company managing your move I would just do it yourself your better off.
Absolute worst company ever. The amount of stuff damaged is astronomical compared to other moves we've done. Some stuff we don't even know how they broke. They even threw away stuff that wasn't supposed to have been thrown away and packed actual trash. They also threw away a pride flag and we're getting the feeling that maybe they treated everything with such disrespect because of that.
This company is the worst of the worst of the worst when it comes to military moves. Stay away!!! Far away!
This company will damage your items on purpose and then fight you for a single dollar when it comes claim time. Horrible, awful company with lots of fake reviews.
TMM transported our belongings left in storage while we were overseas. We received our washing machine broken and dented. The bolts that we’re holding the washing machine in place were missing or broken and the unit bounced around.
Some rust and the age were stated as the reason it broke and they are not taking any responsibility for the poor handling of the unit. It was working just fine when we left.
The missing bolts, the broken drain pump, broken shock and inner basket fins ARE NOT DUE TO RUST but due to bad handling. We had an appliance company guy come to report the issues and TMM is not taking any responsibility for all the parts that were broken during transport even though it is assessed by the appliance guy to be the main cause of damages. I called Rachel from TMM and unfortunately, she didn’t have any response for that and kept dismissing my concerns when I asked about the broken parts not due to rust. We came back from overseas and we don’t have a say on who is dealing with our personal belongings. It’s a shame that the military is hiring Unprofessional people… TMM, do better next time.
