While working on our rental the gal helping us was carrying on a conversation with another employee (Zaniah) about their training schedule noting that they need to complete level 2 before they could do level 3.

We were then sent to have Zaniah guide us to the trailer we rented and hook it up. Zaniah was on their phone rather than helping guide us as we backed up to the trailer. They then FAILED to connect the trailer properly which resulted in it coming disconnected from the vehicle. Not only did Zaniah not properly connect the ball she did not properly connect the chains because they too came disconnected. There was an extreme amount of luck in the fact that the trailer did not hit any vehicles on the road as it was loose in traffic!

Seems to me that if you are going to send an employee to ensure the trailer is properly connected to the towing vehicle that they should be both properly trained and capable of completing the task.

Secondary to the debacle that was Zaniah connecting the trailer, there was a fallen birds nest in the trailer along with various tree debris.
