Tri-State One Rate Movers

Had an impossible situation ahead of me trying to vacate my studio in lower Manhattan to my Westchester location as my landlord had sold the building to a conglomerate that packed off my studio to their private warehouse in Long Island City. My landlord and I had an agreement to use my deposit to safeguard my equipment while organized the move. I had to move fast after locating my property as the new landlords were ready to auction off my belongings. Hired that even legal? Anyway, Finding an economical mover in nyc was beyond charging let alone within 24 hours. I had just about given up when I got a response from Tri State 1 rate. I was at a point were I couldn’t be choosy but not only did I receive white glove service which I required, I received pick up and delivery at a fraction of what I was quoted with other movers. It’s true when they say great things happen all at once! Would recommend them for any important move big or small.

Did a move with tri state movers june 2023. I advise you to not book with them. Had 3 guys and only 1 was a good worker (kyle) quoted a price of $934 upon final destination bill was over $1300 warning ⛔️ dont use tri state movers several broken items

I called for a big move in April and the Rep that I spoke with was very understanding and efficient. He made my move so much easier. The team that came were very professional and went the extra mile with all my stuff. Everything was wrapped and packed perfectly. I can't thank these guys enough. I had a few extra items that were added on and they adjusted my rate on site before they began the move. Very honest and transparent. I'll definitely be using them again.

Horrible experience with this company- attempts to use intimidation tactics to gain early payment.

3 red flags you should be aware of:

1. Company requests full payment before all belongings are moved

2. Company will not move larger items into new apartment if they do not easily fit through door
(They will not attempt to remove door, out items such as couch were left in hallway)

3. Lunch was on our dime, which we did not agree to in contract.

This company is a huge mistake I would absolutely recommend staying away!!

I must admit I was presently surprised at all the little extras these guys did. Before the furniture would enter my new residence they did every from tightening loose furniture, to touch up, to making sure the bottom of all furniture had sufficient sliders as to not damage my new floors. If there were none sliders were added. This doesn't seem like a big deal but to me it was. I'd recommended these guys to anyone.
