Quae & Jhon were awesome!! Fast, affordable, professional…you can’t go wrong with “2 Men & A Truck!”
Terrible experience.
This started off as a fairly positive experience, as my mother had booked the movers ahead of time, they called the day before to confirm, and had showed up right on time on move day. They had sent 3 movers and one very large truck.
Our plan was to pack up the whole house, move 2/3 the furniture to storage, and the rest to another residence. The few days prior to this, we had spent a significant amount of time labeling what should go to either stop 1 or stop 2 so the movers would have no questions. While booking the movers, we were assured that any mattresses would be put into bags for the move and the more fragile furniture would be secured with blankets.
Throughout the process of packing up our home, we had a handful of concerns.
-No bags were used for the mattresses. The guys looked in the truck, but there were absolutely none available.
-The movers had tossed cushions down the stairs rather than carrying them.
-No furniture was wrapped in towels.
-We had to pack our own personal vehicles, as the truck was packed very loosely and not everything would fit.
-My one biggest issue is with the use of a vaping employee. It's one thing for someone to use an odorless e-cigarette, but this mover smelled very strongly of Marijuana. As the day progressed, the smell was more and more concentrated.
Upon arriving to the storage unit and unpacking the truck, it was noticed that the underside of a chair had unzipped and an abundance of moisture-absorber beads had spilled out all over the parking lot. In addition to that, a few pieces of furniture had been noted as having large scuffs on them. When reported afterwards to the manager, he stated that we probably scuffed our own furniture on purpose and blamed the movers. This is simply untrue and unprofessional, as we wouldn't purposely destroy our own furniture.
Upon moving the remaining furniture into the 3rd stop, the movers left a handful of imperfections in the upstairs walls. On top of that, they broke a wheel off of a table, which they immediately filled out a damage report for. When inquiring about the damage, the same manager offered $30 in order to replace the table. (Replacement table is currently priced at $208.05)
Although the manager stated that all employees are regularly drug screened, this doesn't seem to be the case.
Altogether the entire experience was terrible, and we will NOT be using them in the future.

Best move experience I’ve ever had. From the reservation to the actual move, Two Guys and a Truck/Rocky Hill exceeded my expectations.
We have used this company a few times now and every time has been a great experience. Customer service is very attentive and professional. The movers are fast but careful. Very appreciative for this company!
