A nice professional team that is great for your local move. Very reasonably priced. Great for seniors and singles with minimal furniture. A highly recommended business!
Very professional service
The movers were actually great it's the management that is horrible. The movers damaged my 70' Phillips smart TV. They had me fill out some paperwork. Then come to find out they only want to pay me 60¢ a pound. The TV is 23 lbs times 60¢ that's $13.80 for a $1200 tv. What kinda B.S. is that and it's taken over a month to get any type of update. Now they wanna replace my TV with a used TV, not giving me any details on the brand or specs. This is the worst customer service I have dealt with in a long time. Anyone in the Goldsboro area please be cautious when dealing with this company especially military and veterans. These guys are no professional at all. They just want to get you money and that's it. Broken TV just shows you that they care nothing about your belongings, what if it was something of sentimental value or something that can't be replaced. I advice people to shop around for a more professional company, better rates doesn't always mean better service. I also just got an email from them this is them reconciling the damages they did, people please don't do business with this company it will save you a headache and money.
I was charged twice the estimated amount. Boxes were used with little in them. They are expensive. I had to make 4 extra trips to gather my things after they moved me. 'Not all was moved for that hefty price. I had 378.00 in loose change in a jar taken. I would never recommend using this business.
The movers did not try to be careful and did not try very hard to protect the furniture from moving damage. They professional & friendly.
-The Tow Men showed up an hour earlier than scheduled and so arrived before the furniture was ready to be moved.
-A lot of items were not protected with moving blankets & knocked into doorways, walls, etc. Also let items grind unprotected on wood stairs or the metal edge of ramp. They bounced polished table tops and other easily scratched surfaces down stairs & on/off truck on unprotected hand truck nose-plate.
-Frame of a mirror was broken because it was not properly protected and/or handled.
-The Tow Men bashed a heavy chest of drawers into the ceiling/wall corner above the staircase.
-They broke the molding on a doorway as they moved furniture through it. The damage was at eye-level and so would be very noticeable afterwards without careful repair and repainting.
-They carried unprotected wooden chairs two at a time by their top back cross-piece after being told the glue in the chair-joints should not be trusted. Then also banged the chairs on doorways or each other while they were being carried.
-The polished highly visible surfaces of furniture that were NOT protected by moving blankets were allowed to rub against, or fall into and rub against, each other in the back of the truck while the truck was being driven to be unloaded.
-They left an unloaded rocking chair sitting upright but with one runner completely and obviously not attached at one end.
-At least one of the Two Men either used marijuana mouthwash or was high during the packing/loading and the much later unpacking/unloading
