I booked an unload at a storage down the road. 24 hours before the reservation date they called to confirm. Well with everything going on with the move I forgot to cancel 2 men and a truck. They charged me $109 because I didn't cancel 48 hours before. They could have confirmed 48 hours before but they didn't. So now I'm out $109. Also I was going to use them a month later for a bigger job but not anymore. They are very expensive

I could dispute the charge with the credit card company based on the fact that I wasn't contacted 48 hours before. Dr offices and hotels call before so their customers aren't charged. What makes 2 men and a truck so special that you can't call 48 hours ahead if that's your policy. Doing the right thing goes a long way in business. I also noticed that you only have 1 review. You should reconsider your policies and call 48 hours before to confirm instead of charging your customers like a thief. Moving companies have a bad reputation to begin with and you're perpetuating that negative view.
