The two men who came to do the move were fantastic. They were prompt, personable, efficient and extremely professional. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Very pleased!

Injured worker, 800 sq feet, only 17 larger items including chairs is 4.5 hours and $700 for a local 12 min drive. Please do not send a worker with a sprained ankle that is required to move heavy furniture up and down stairs and take longer than it should have on the customers dime, as well as further straining his injury. The head mover told us the young guy mover was hobbling around the shop prior to our move that morning and asked if he was ok and the younger guy said yes, he sprained ankle from the night before from baseball, which he told us while complaining of the pain. We had a small apartment that needed moved locally and were quoted 3-5 hours, which other local movers quoted 3 hours, but we chose this company. They did not properly wrap our items well to protect them from damage. Our base TV stand was broken, which they did fix, but it was broken during the move, and according to the head mover it was due to lack of care of wrapping and strapping items in on the younger guys part. Over an hour was spent with nothing being moved and one guy on the phone trying to find a replacement mover for the unload and also talking to us after to try to not get us to file a damage report on our TV stand that got broken during the move and tried to get us to accept $50 instead of filing the claim. The head mover kept apologizing for how long everything was taking during the move, and kept referring back to the younger injured guy for it taking longer than normal. For the unload of items they switched out the injured worker, but we were already 3+ hours into the slow move at this point. Once a new worker came everything went smoother, until it came to trying to figure out our broken TV stand and the workers stating how horrible the injured younger guy wrapped our furniture and the lack of care put into it. We were charged for 5 hours, when they were there with us for 4.5, a lot of which was spent on the phone or entering information in on the tablet. I contacted the office and got a refund for the overcharged 30 minutes ( 2 months later), and discussed my concerns with the length of time it took and lack of care and unprofessionalism. The local owner stated that it's a 'tight knit group' of workers and they were just poking fun at how poorly he wrapped our items, but when it's not their items being damaged and their dime being spent on a slower move, it's upsetting to hear the workers mock the lack of care put into the condition of our items and is not something you want to hear spoken infront of you. The younger injured worker claimed to the owner his sprained ankle had no effect on his quality of moving heavy furniture up and down stairs, yet the hobbling and laying down on the ground really said otherwise; injured players on any sports team are benched for a reason. Overall it's upsetting overpaying for a service where it was doomed to not go smoothly from the beginning, or had we had a well able worked there is no doubt things would have went quicker and smoother. Professionalism when around customers as well should be of high importance, they're trusting you to care for their items as if they were your own, not laugh at the lack of care put into them. I'm not saying this is everyone's experience, but just wanting to share mine.
