Two Men and a Truck Moving and Storage

So I had this company move me out of my 1 bedroom apartment. When I called them they quoted me $380-725 and that they estimate it would take 2.5 hrs. My understanding of this quote is that if it took less than 2.5 hrs it would be closer to the $380, if it took more than 2.5 hrs it would be closer to the $725 price. It took them 3.5 hours and they charged me $920. I did the math based on my receipt and the only way I would have been charged $725 is if it took exactly 2.5 hrs, what’s the point of the quote then? Moreover, what was the $380 range, if it took 15 minutes? To add salt to the wound, one of the movers told me that he “spoke to his boss this morning and the quote they gave me was bull****”. I say all this to say that your items will be moved and the movers themselves are excellent but the business has shady practices. The quote will be no where near what you’re paying the day of.

$600-1000 to move a 1Br Apt 3 miles when we're 5 minutes from their shop? I don't think so. City moving gets our business! Super nice and professional. Good luck bilking people of their hard earned money.

All of the employees from Two Men and a Truck are great! From management to their friendly movers each one was friendly and professional. Our school was a recipient of a large dragon bookshelf that we could not move ourselves. They stepped up and came to our rescue! They were very professional while moving. Making sure to communicate about how this unique and very heavy piece could be placed in the best spot. About ten years ago I had experienced their professionalism while moving my grandmother into assisted living. They were kind and efficient then and still provide incredible service to their customers. I would recommend them to anyone who needs help moving things large or small.

I’ve been trying to talk with these guys about getting a bit of money back for a move I had them do, I’ve talked with their operations 4 or 5 times trying to get them to talk to me and have heard nothing

I moved from a town home to a 4 bed house
4 guys, and at one point 6 guy moving my stuff the all in all move took 10 hours to move 13 miles
Guys complaining about the work telling my wife how bad their back hurts and criticizing how much stuff we had, a lot of twiddling of thumbs and lazy inefficient work
I was only looking for an hour or two in labor cost back and nobody has been able to figure it out over there. Would not recommend their service find a different company or at least for sure a different shop to use

Came in and saved the day after a different moving company tried to reschedule for the fourth time. Very professional and courteous movers. Took their time and were careful but weren’t wasting time on the clock. Highly recommend.
