Two Scots Moving

Diane and Ron really stepped up when we had a real estate deal that saw us packing everything up and moving within three weeks to make closing. And we had a lot of stuff! Their professionalism and sensitivity to the situation were truly appreciated and the hustle of the crew cannot be overstated. We would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Not a fan. Original estimate was around $900, they ended up charging me $1536. They charged by the hour, so we moved everything we boxed out to the garage hoping to save a little time, wrong. They told us they put stuff back where they got it from so they would not put boxes in our new house that came out of the garage, instead they would only put them back in the garage. When they showed up at 10:00, they knew that we couldn’t move in until 3 but they told us that they brought the small truck and were going to make trips back and fourth(guess who pays for drive time), anyway they decided to bring the big truck too later on. I feel like they were milking the clock, I mean my total was a lot more than my estimate. They also told me that certain things would not be covered if they broke during moving. So, guess who had to get a uhaul trailer, enlist some help, and move about 10 loads myself. Honestly, I feel like I got ripped off, and I should have used someone else. $636 over estimate, not to mention what I had to pay for a uhaul. Lucky I was only moving 3 miles away.
