U-Box at U-Haul

This is the second time that U-Box by U-Haul has demonstrated an absolute lack of basic competence and ability to provide the service they claim to provide. In 2012, we used UBox for a move from Alaska to Colorado where UBox LOST the entire shipment for approximately 2 weeks, then had the audacity to attempt to CHARGE me for keeping the boxes too long. This issue was only resolved by threats of legal action against UBox and heroic efforts by a local, and low level, employee.

This move, from Juneau to Mat-Su my wife boomed 6 boxes, theb upped the reservation to 8. When we went to pick up boxes, to our surprise, we were told that there were only 6 boxes reserved, but 'we have extra, so it will be fine.' This applied until it came time to actually GET the extra. Then there were none.

As it turns out, some incompetent upped the reservation to 8 at our destination in Mat-Su. Now, why I would want to leave my furniture behind in Juneau and pay for two EMPTY boxes in Mat-Su is beyond my comprehension.

As of tonight, we have received two promises of a call back and not received any.
