U-Haul at Barksdale

Called in to see if I could get the truck and do a one way I spoke with Wanda and she was soooooo rude told me I’m not taking her truck nowhere that’s her truck and I should have put one way on the reservation I explained to her that I didn’t make the reservation she proceeds to say well u should have made sure whoever made it did it write but u not taking my truck nowere so i asked did she have a truck that I could use to as a one way she says no I donot and I have ppl waiting right now for the truck smh the way she talk to people is not professional at all been to a lot of uhuals and have never been treated like this before smh

They have great people working there that do their very best to help you as soon as possible, I had a hitch installation, shipping took a bit longer ( but this is not the locations fault) but at the location they did everything they could to assist me as fast as possible and with quality work.

I had a good experience having a hitch put on within an hour so I give stars for that. However I came back a month later for tow wiring, told would take 3hrs, dropped off at 9am. By 4pm, halfway done he said, been busy, I can leave overnight, open at 9am. We'll I assume he would finish, having my truck 10hrs so I show next day 9am, stand in a line 25mins and he says not done, never said it'd be done. Once again end of day and no truck, he is closed, never called me or answered the phone when I called at 4pm.

I made a reservation at this location and the store clerk canceled it. I made a second reservation and spoken with the clerk about staying after they close and he agreed. Once I got there he didn't assist me at all. Tried calling multiple times and the phone went to the customer service line. This location needs to do better. Customer service was bad. The dude seem like he had an attitude. Not holding up your end of the agreement. Bad for Business.
