Corporate price gouging. This is ane, over priced nonsense.

I booked a 20' Truck weeks in advance, and 2 days prior to the Saturday Rental I got a call that the truck wasn't available and there was going to be no effort put in to get a truck from a different location sent here, I was told I could get a different size truck or they could cancel my reservation.

I never give 1 star reviews, but this place deserves it. They have been understaffed for the last 10 years, they have had no location manager for a long time. The fill in manager Ariel who does scheduling for the entire state of Maine (according to her) was extremely rude, she was not trying to be helpful, which goes a long way with me. Avoid this location if possible and save yourself the stress.

Kinda a bummer when the people at the U-Haul don’t know what a trailer brake controller is. I was looking for a specific harness on one and got told they sell exactly what I need for 8 bucks. Normally brake controllers are more like 70 dollars so I asked to confirm it was the trailer brake controller not the harness. Lady on the phone snapped I don’t know what you’re talking about I’ll just have to look yourself. I guess I will look myself and just order it online
