U-Haul at Mineral King

Great customer service at this location for pick up and drop off. All the employees were friendly and helpful. When I returned the truck I was having trouble with the app and an employee named Duncan came out and helped me complete my checkout. I was exhausted from moving and really appreciated the help. I will definitely recommend the Mineral King location.

You know sometimes I come to these places and it's not always the best outcome but I have to say a gentleman by the name Eric. He just seemed to care for my issue and was apologetic and went above and beyond and he ended up fixing my whole situation and even though it sounded like previous customers may have messed up a vehicle i was planning to rent the day before i needed it. so it messed up our plans...and Eric was still able to make it happen. He saved my wife and I so much trouble we were stressed and trying to figure out a way to make it happen. He was such a nice guy and I just feel bad cuz I was kind of irritated with him at first and he just showed patience and understanding and he was really apologetic and ended up just making my day and then so thank you buddy I appreciate you i hope your boss and U-Haul treat you well. Because SOME employees are gems and many are NOT. But you sir are def one.

We made a reservation for a cargo van in Visalia one week in advance. After confirming it again we went to get our van. The manager Eric Quinonez pushed me to sign the agreement before giving me the key. First, the agreement showed the van was 3/8 full, and the mileage was low. We finally got the key and realized it was only 1/8 full and the mileage was higher. Then the vehicle itself was filthy, inside and out. It had not been cleaned or washed. And drove pretty roughly. When we brought this to his attention, he gave us some bafflegab nonsense. It was basically incoherent gibberish. We ended up paying $120.00 to fill up the gas tank, which we did not receive any credit for. He lied about the return time and wanted us to pay for an extra day. You need to rent your truck from other companies or other U-Haul, not from Visalia U-Haul.

Everything was great, but there was an issue/misunderstanding....and Erick was very helpful and fixed the issue and went above and beyond and explained everything to us.
