The key would not turn in the truck, but I was told to turn the truck to the left then turn the key. Nothing should be so complicated when renting. Other than the truck not starting right away..I was please. Customer service was top notch
Staff should not be on phone while helping customers. Checkout a little crazy. If checkout is done completely on mobile app, it’s no reason to go into the store and stand a line to just get a key. Then U-Haul called to verify that it was me before they “approved” the checkout. Plan mobile pickup and save yourself some time. Being up front about the process will help to expedite what will happen. First time with this experience at a center. The cost is a bit much also. We had the truck for a total of 4 hours and paid much more than expected because they charge for truck, insurance and then per mile. Thought mileage would be included up to 20 miles or something but it was not. None was included. Gets expensive quickly.
I LOVE you guys. Everyone is helpful and efficient. However, if you had a safe bike rack behind the store, I wouldn't have to bring the bike home in the rental truck and you could promote yourself as being an environmentally progressive location. By biking back and forth to retrieve and return the truck, there is one less car on the road, and I don't need to bother anyone for a ride. I LOVE the convenience of your location.
