U-Haul Moving & Storage at Ed Carey

Daniel the assistant manager was just wonderful!! He assisted me with a storage unit and he was so detailed and had such amazing customer service! The first time I went to this store and met with the manager, it wasn’t a pleasant experience but we gave it another try and Daniel truly made it so much better! Great customer service, extremely polite and courteous. Need more employees like him!

Joseph Rosas - General Manager/Owner has a lot to learn about Customer Service. Very unfriendly and overall rude attitude. This represents poor leadership and ultimately trickles down to affect staff behaviors and the overall general experience of using this business. Would not recommend this location. I have been a business owner for 20 years and pride my self on maintaining a great attitude and cordial friendly service with all clients under any circumstances. I demand nothing less than the same out of all of our staff.

U-Haul Moving & Storage at Morgan Blvd. (About 10 minutes away) is an apples and oranges scenario to H-Haul Moving & Storage at Ed Carey. A much better experience there! Be cautious…

DO NOT GO HERE, I REPEAT.. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Hi friends, I'm just trying to save you time, energy, and a major headache. I was going to use U-Haul for all my storage needs, I actually did. After months of looking for a specific storage unit I praised the Lord when one became available at U-Haul (specifically this one off of Ed Carey). Happy as can be, I reserved my unit, U-Haul had my confirmation and card on file, the date to move in was set, life was good... Or so I thought. Boy did U-Haul do me dirty. Yesterday we went to rent a trailer and turns out, U-Haul gave away my unit. Yep, you read that right. They gave away my unit. Did I know? NO. Were they going to inform me? Probably also NO. After expressing our concerns, eventually one of the managers overheard the conversation and straight out said that my unit was gone and just because it was 'RESERVED' doesn't mean it's 'GUARANTEED'.. I'm sorry, what? I think I just hallucinated. Long story short, here I am, furious, disappointed, and over U-Haul (again Ed Carey specifically), but also so happy to tell you that y'all should check out Affordable Attic Self Storage!! They have a brand new building with brand new units! Go now! Did I just write a bad review while promoting a competitor??! You bet I did. Don't go to these scammers. :)

PS. We were the second family yesterday on the hunt at Affordable Attic Self Storage after U-Haul gave away our unit. If they did it once, correction.. twice, they'll do it again.

They refuse to make room around there LP Tank to where a Motorhome cant get close enough to get gas. What a waste of company resources.
