U-Haul Moving & Storage at Hwy 124

The truck size I needed was available. The specific truck issued was blocked in by 2 other trucks. Other trucks in the same size were easily accessible. They were aware of this yet decided not to change truck rentals and took their sweet time moving them out the way. The 1st guy moves truck 1 then never comes back so we have to go back inside to inquire & request the 2nd truck to be moved. Guy 1 says he had to log where he parked truck 1. Meanwhile we're still waiting and blocked by truck 2. Guy 2 then comes to finally move truck 2. They had no urgency, consideration or no care for my time. The additional 10- 15 minutes when you're paying movers and are trying to beat traffic is important.

I had no problems with storing my items here. The transition from move in to move out was smooth! There are plenty of carts to utilize for easy moving. I liked there was a spot for recycling items. The parking can be tricky sometimes but overall I had no problems.

Awesome customer service, fast service, agent extremely efficient and informative. Rental van was very nice and clean.

Walked in and they were charging me 150$ more than I was quoted for a hitch installation. It then took 5 & 1/2 hours for them to do the job. I paid and left after he walked me over to “explain what I would have to do in order to hook up the electrical for the trailer” in which was not tucked, so I now will have to have that tucked or continue closing my trunk on the cable, which WILL damage the cord over time causing it to not work anymore.
They were so rude and unprofessional when I showed up worried because I called multiple times to check on it and they were not answering. Stated it would be another hour so I walked out to ask about it to the technician and he said, “okay what do you want me to do about it” after stating to me my car keys would have to be picked up the next day if I could not stay to wait for my keys. (I mean - maybe know how to do your job and install hitches properly if I am paying top dollar on labor.) Keep in mind I was doing work for my grandmas old house an hour away from where I was staying that day so I scheduled the appointment at this location, which is the familiar location for me. Absolutely unacceptable experience. Will NEVER go to a uhaul if I can help it due to how everything was handled on ALL levels. Would highly recommend avoiding this location specifically!
