U-Haul Moving & Storage at Princeton & Candelaria

I just picked up a U Haul 5 x 9 trailer from this site and couldn't be more pleased! I have the app and I had checked in and paid in advance, so my check out was super easy. I showed my drivers licence, signed and got my contract. The manager Ariel helped me and was so helpful! When we saw that my trailer lights connector was damaged, she had me drive over to their shop and wired a new connector in for me. No labor charge, and wouldn't take a tip. Just good service. I've had always good experiences with Uhaul over the years, and this was excellent! By the way, the trailer is very sturdy, heavy duty and rides well. All in all a great rental!

I’m a little frustrated.

We had reserved a trailer a few days to our trip. The day of us leaving work, and going to UHAL we were notified the trailer wouldn’t be available. We had an option of their “specialty” trailer and was told it should fit what we were towing ( a razor). We got all the way down to Texas 10 hour drive!! Saturday morning went to the dealer where it DID NOT FIT!!!

We called and was told their would be. Drop fee since it is a specialty trailer but wasn’t told how much. We then we to the big UHAL dealer out in Denton Texas and was notified it would be $1,700 to drop it. Texas said “well you can take it back and then come and rent one” I definitely told them it’s a 10 hour drive so that wouldn’t be an option. We went back to the dealer and let them know we could not take the razor that day. Thankful everyone there was helpful because I was already frustrated. We pretty much rented a trailer to take to a different state and STILL came back empty handed. Not really happy about the situation.

The girl in the desk is very informative and wil call you if you missed/need/or feels you need advice on your load type of vehicle and more. You have to go to see her suggestions the boy is very harf working both of them outside in the heat making sure the uhuals clean and safe for our family members x thank you so much for also holding my cash calling verefying and going beyond your limits to make sure I got my deposit back. AWESOME SERVICE!
