U-Haul Moving & Storage of Ames

Booked a “reservation” for a 20ft truck a month before leaving and then two days before the move they call to say no truck here you have to drive an hr away to get it. What choice do I have? They will tell you to try calling their compensation line. Well I figured I could at least get compensated the mileage for driving that hour but nope. The compensation line will just rudely tell you that you get nothing. I will never be using uhaul again. Over 700$ spent on a truck and gas.

I left my wallet at work and I don't have a car and one of the guys offered to give me a ride to and from my office so I didn't have to take the bus!! Above and beyond customer service woohoo!!!

Excellent service all around. They even gave me a courtesy call since I couldn't arrive on time. The trailer was in good condition.
