U-Haul Moving & Storage of Binghamton

Mad reservations at Vestal location. Got there and no rental available. Directed to drive to Binghamton location. Also had to Return at Binghamton. That’s not where I rented from in reservation. And no inconvenience discounts either. Won’t be renting from U Haul again…. I’ll use the competitor!

I reserved a truck online. Went to the counter at the location. Paid for it and got the keys. Quick, smooth and easy. Just what I needed on moving day.

I have a storage unit with U-Haul. My storage unit is considered an unmanned location. so I have to ride all the way to chenango St to speak with a U-Haul employee. Trying to get someone on the phone is next to impossible. It always goes to the 24/7 costumer service. Which is pretty much useless. The only thing they can do really is continue to try and get in touch with the actual store location. Which is almost never going to happen. Annoying things 24-hour customer service is good for is making or canceling reservations off road assistance and leaving notes for your in store location.They Good in-store customer service. But I've had absolutely nothing but problems since I got my unit. I def wouldn't recommend wasting your money. If I could give it zero Stars I would.

Great experience, good truck (15 foot). Very helpful staff. I wish they had a trailer that was a little bit lighter because I was towing a small car (I needed the full trailer, not the tow-dolly), so it was unneccesary extra weight which made the attachment/detachment more difficult and cost me more fuel. But no complaints from me and overall I was very happy with Uhaul!
