U-Haul Moving & Storage of Bismarck

Justin (ASSistant General Manager) was very rude and unprofessional when I was trying to get an auto-pay charge refunded. When I paid the rental charge for the unit, I declined auto-pay withdrawal, and whomever helped wasn't thorough enough to accomplish this task. Justin hung up on me, and I did not get my issue resolved

Beware! They run a scam on fuel so make sure to take pics of fuel gauge when you pick up your truck and upload it to their online check in link and do the same when you drop it off or you will be overcharged for fuel even if you bring it back the same level it was when you got it. Most likely a scam being ran by the employees to fill their own tanks.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced
They schedule me for pick up a week prior to a out of state job I have and needed a uhaul the employee said everything is scheduled got my confirmation for pick up and 3 days prior to the move they tell me I have to go out of state to get the equipment when originally everything was supposed to be picked up in town ! Not impressed one bit with this company they don’t do anything to correct there mistakes and make lots of mistakes daily when it comes to there customers . I’m on a time crunch for this move and they have wasted nothing but time and money from me

I vacated two storage units before the next billing date but no one was at the counter in the store and there was a line, so I did the online move-out request that same day. I called the store twice that day and was placed on hold, and transferred to the main customer service number who said only the local store could help me. I tried emailing the general manager of the store regarding the move-out request and calling the store again a few times over the next few days. I have not been able to reach anyone at the store and I continue to receive notices of late fees despite the move-out request pending for 6 days now, and no apparent way to reach or receive a response from the store. As of 1-20-2022, the store will not answer, respond or complete the move-out and I've been charged for months I did not occupy the units plus late fees. I DO NOT recommend ever renting here, as you cannot reach a live person at the store. This place should be investigated for shady business practices at a minimum.
As of 1/28/2022, I still have never received any response from this store and they are mailing late notices to my daughter in another state. Disgusting behavior - avoid like the plague.
