U-Haul Moving & Storage of Buffalo Grove

We wanted to drop out truck and travel trailer off for 5 days as we were visiting family in downtown Chicago. They refused to rent on a short term basis, ok fine, we rented at the monthly rate. We get our rig situated in our spot and I start to notice all kinds of construction debris, self tapping screws, deck screws and nails. Luckily we did not pick any up in our tires. I took my handful of screws, which was from our immediate area, and notified the staff of the hazard. He didn’t seem to give it much mind, no even a simple apology or effort to pick up the debris in the lot. We returned to pick up our rig and we walked any area we might travel to get our rig out, we picked up handfuls and handfuls, and there was still more in areas we weren’t planning on going. If you plan on using this lot I would caution you to check for debris unless you want to replace your tires. Totally unacceptable.

I was in a rush, it’s a holiday, parked out front of the door. He refused to help me unless I remarked my car.

Thank you JOE! You helped me trouble shoot why the trailer lights weren't working right and saved me having to make an extra trip back to the U-Haul facility. My trailer was ready and hooked up quickly. Great facility!
